    The cultivation of cannabis is only permitted in a closed room that is not open to the public. Cannabis is sold in licensed clubs: Cannabis is dispensed via so-called cannabis clubs. These are not allowed to advertise and must adhere to certain rules for the protection of children and young people.

  • Cultivation of cannabis

    The private cultivation of cannabis is only permitted in small quantities. Adults may grow up to three female flowering plants, which must be protected from access by children and adolescents.

  • Rules for consumption

    Consumption in public is restricted: The consumption of cannabis in public is prohibited if there are schools or daycare centers nearby. It is not permitted to smoke weed in pedestrian zones between 7 am and 8 pm.

  • Age restriction

    The cultivation, possession and consumption of cannabis is only permitted for adults aged 18 and over.
