As a relative of oregano, marjoram seasons hearty dishes with potatoes, pulses and meat. Its sweet, lemony pine aromas harmonize wonderfully with garlic, parsley and caraway. This is why marjoram can also be found in various herb mixtures. Grows moderately fast.

Product details
Origin: Mediterranean region and North Africa. Also often called sausage herb. About 40 species. Marjoram has a sweet, bitter scent. Used as a spice and medicinal plant.
Several seeds can be placed in one PlantPlug. Germinates after 1 week at optimum 18- 20 °C. Ideal room temperature: 18- 30 °C.
First harvest after 4-6 weeks, after the plant has formed 6-8 leaves. Regular pruning promotes strong growth, but the plant should not be cut down completely. The flowers are edible.
