Annual Phlox(Phlox drummondii), also called summer phlox or the annual phlox, is an annual plant with compact, upright growth, up to 25 cm high. It has delicate, fragrant flowers that come in a variety of colors including pink, red, purple, white and blue. The flowers are arranged in dense clusters and have a characteristic star shape.

This plant species is native to southern North America, particularly Texas, where it occurs in sparse oak woodlands on sandy soils.

Annual phlox is an annual herbaceous plant that reaches growth heights of about 5 to 50 cm.
Several seeds can be placed in one PlantPlug. A single pack is enough for 2 PlantPlugs.
Germinate after about 1-2 weeks. The optimal temperatures for the growth of these plants are usually between 15°C and 25°C. During the nucleation process, the seeds prefer a constant temperature of about 18°C to 21°C to promote germination.
For long-lasting flowering, it is advisable to regularly remove the faded and wilted parts of the plant with a sharp knife or scissors.

Phlox drummondii is an annual plant, which means that it usually lives only for one growing season (spring - autumn). After being grown from seed, the plant germinates, grows, blooms and sets seed for the next generation.
Phlox drummondii can be transplanted from a size of about 10 cm from the GreenBox into flower pots, flower beds and used in the garden as ground cover.
Due to their bright flowers, they are also a popular choice for bouquets and cut flower arrangements.
