Annual Phlox(Phlox drummondii), also called summer phlox or the annual phlox, is an annual plant with compact, upright growth, up to 25 cm high. It has delicate, fragrant flowers that come in a variety of colors including pink, red, purple, white and blue. The flowers are arranged in dense clusters and have a characteristic star shape.

This plant species originates from southern North America, particularly Texas, where it is found in sparse oak forests on sandy soils.
Interesting facts: Phlox drummondii is often associated with beauty, love and harmony. It is also seen as a symbol of friendship and gratitude.
The annual phlox is an annual herbaceous plant that grows to a height of around 5 to 50 cm.
Several seeds can be placed in one PlantPlug. A single pack is sufficient for 2 PlantPlugs.
Germination after approx. 1-2 weeks. The optimum temperatures for the growth of these plants are normally between 15°C and 25°C. During the germination process, the seeds prefer a constant temperature of around 18°C to 21°C to promote germination.
For long-lasting flowering, it is advisable to regularly remove the withered and wilted parts of the plant with a sharp knife or scissors.

Phlox drummondii is an annual plant, which means that it usually only lives for one growing season (spring - fall). After being grown from seed, the plant germinates, grows, flowers and sets seed for the next generation.
Phlox drummondii can be transplanted from the GreenBox into flower pots, flower beds and used as ground cover in the garden from a size of approx. 10 cm.
Their bright flowers also make them a popular choice for bouquets and cut flower arrangements.
