Product details
1500 - 2000 tomato varieties. Species vary in fruit size, color and taste. Often grown as an annual plant, but is perennial. Self-pollinating, mechanical processes such as wind can speed up the process.
One to two seeds per PlantPlug. Germinates after approx. 10-22 days. Ideal room temperature: 25 °C. Due to their size, plants often need trellises and stakes to grow upright. When the plant develops flowers, pollination can be supported by gently moving the plant.
The flower of the cherry tomato must be pollinated itself. You can do this easily with a brush or with your hand.
First harvest after 10 - 12 weeks. Fruits ripen from green to yellow to red. Harvest professionally by cutting the tomato at the stem with a sharp knife or scissors. After harvesting, the plant can produce more fruit.
Only ripe fruits are edible! Other parts of the plants are not suitable for consumption.
