Material & structure
The housing of the GreenBox is made from ethically sourced European birch wood, which is subjected to extensive stress tests during the manufacturing process. In addition, it is not in direct contact with water.
The electrical components of the GreenBox are CE and EMC certified by independent laboratories and do not pose a fire hazard when used properly. We avoid plastic wherever possible. If we do have to use plastic because it is necessary, we use 100% recycled and recyclable plastic.

Yes, it is possible to grow the plants in the GreenBox Plus right from the start. However, our recommendation is to use the standard GreenBox to grow larger plants in the regular GreenBox first and then repot them in the GreenBox Plus.
Why? This variant is significantly more energy-efficient, as the plants grow faster in their first growth phase and can then be repotted in the GreenBox Plus. A nice side effect is the natural cycle that is created. Repotting is very easy and is demonstrated in the video above.
The Standard GreenBox is best suited for: Microgreens, mushrooms, seedlings of larger plants that will later be repotted into the GreenBox Plus, salads, dwarf plants such as dwarf chillies or dwarf sunflowers and herbs that are harvested regularly.
The GreenBox Plus is best suited for: all larger plants such as vegetables and fruit (e.g. Physalis, sugar snap peas, tomatoes, mini cucumbers, various types of chili), medicinal and culinary herbs that can then grow higher, plants that will soon be legal to grow in Germany, flowers such as larger sunflowers and climbing petunias, and much more
If you want to optimize your yield, we recommend growing the strong seedlings in the regular GreenBox and then transferring the plants to the large GreenBox Plus. After reaching the growth height, the seedlings can be repotted in the GreenBox Plus together with the water tank within a few minutes.

Optimal lighting is ensured by the settings in the app. We recommend the "100% growth" setting.
A constant supply of minerals should be guaranteed. We recommend adding one cap of our GreenBox booster (already included in the package) per 1.5 - 2 liters of irrigation water. The GreenBox indicates a low water level by gently flashing.

The components of each GreenBox that we ship are carefully packaged in a dry state and separately from each other: the wooden housing does not come into contact with water, the PlantPlugs are "unplugged" and tightly packed - and the seeds are also individually packaged separately. All this ensures a very long shelf life for the product and accessories. As long as they are kept in a dry environment, the seeds and PlantPlugs will last for at least 2 years. So you don't have to worry about whether your "green gift" will last until the holidays :)
With the GreenBox Plus, you are ready to make a statement. The larger Smart Indoor Garden can be placed anywhere, even in places without sunlight. It measures 40.6 x 20.8 x 83.4 centimetres and should be placed near the power socket.
When you start a new set, the amount of water in the tank should be 1.5 liters. If the plants have already developed more roots, you can fill the water tank to the maximum - with a little more than 2 liters of water. In both cases, the plants will be supplied with water for an average of 14 days. At high temperatures, the water requirement can of course increase.
The housing of the GreenBox is made of birch wood from European forests. It is cut by laser and finished by hand. Each GreenBox is assembled by hand in our Berlin workshop and checked for quality. Part of our production process is carried out by the Berlin workshops for the disabled.
12 - 16 hours per day is the most effective lighting duration for your plants. You can use the GreenBox app to set when the light should switch on and off automatically. The light temperature and intensity can also be flexibly adjusted to your mood via the app. You can also use the GreenBox as a light alarm clock and/or intelligent daylight lamp.
With the GreenBox Tent, you can turn your indoor garden into a stylish designer lamp
No. The wooden housing contains a plastic tank. This in turn contains the insert with the 8 slots for the PlantPlugs. In the middle of this insert are 2 spout holes for watering. The GreenBox can be filled with water using a standard indoor watering can or drinking bottle so that no water drips onto the wood.
Naturally! We also offer PlantPlugs without seeds. You can also let off steam with the seeds of your choice in our 24-pack Experimental Set. Individual seeds in single or 4-packs are also available in our store.
Both the water tank and the device for the PlantPlugs can be easily removed and cleaned. We have chosen high-quality birch wood as the main material to ensure that your GreenBox retains its clear design and does not discolor even after a long time. If you still want to freshen up your GreenBox after a while, this can be done in just a few minutes with some sandpaper. Then it will look fresh and new again even after a few years.
Our PlantPlugs undergo a special drying process at the end of their production in which no larvae or eggs would survive. However, should an external insect infestation occur, please contact us via our customer service. We will give you a few tips or replace the PlantPlugs if necessary.

Ich habe lange nach einer geeigneten Lösung gesucht für eine herkömmlichen growbox, da der Anbau für mich diskreter stattfinden sollte.
Optisch hat mich die growbox super überzeugt, ebenso die Tatsache das man hier auf die Nachhaltigkeit wert gelegt hat.
Zum anderen finde ich die Anleitungen & Videos zum einleiten, erklären und Tipps und Tricks SUPER gut gemacht.
Selbst grow Anfänger können hier endlich mal was anbauen, egal was ☺️😉
Ich habe die Growbox jetzt seit 2 Wochen und bin aktuell noch sehr begeistert davon.
Ich hoffe das meine zwei Cannabis Sorten tatsächlich bis zur Ernte durchhalten, und auch die altivkohlefilter den Duft dämmen. Sollte das dann auch noch so werden, bekommt ihr direkt nochmal 5 Sterne 😅!

Mir gefällt dieses Konzept sehr für die dunklere Jahreszeit. Als Hobbygärtnerin bin ich sehr neugierig darauf, wie das alles im Verlauf funktioniert; ist man schließlich sonst bemüht, die Wurzeln nicht im Wasser stehend zu pflegen. Vermutlich spielen hier hauseigene Produkte zur Düngung und Pflege sowie ein regelmäßiger Austausch bzw. Kontrolle des Wassers. Ich versuche es entgegen meiner zuverlässigen Meldung des kritischen Wasserstandes erstmal mit weniger… ich habe jedenfalls schon jetzt sehr viel Freude an meiner ersten und nun zweiten Box. Auch alle Pflanzen die daneben stehen bekommen reichlich Schub 😄

Es ist mein drittes hohe "Green Box" . Dazu kommen noch 4 "kleine". Im Winter zur Versorgung mit frischem Gemüse wie Salat, Paprika, Tomaten und Gurken, den Rest des Jahres zum Vorziehen von Pflanzen für die Hochbeete. Dies habe ich dieses Jahr bereits gemacht ( und mache es noch) und es funktioniert fast perfekt! Nur wenige Pflanzen aus dem experimentalen Bereich wachsen nicht. Die Samen von Berlin Green sind alle aufgegangen und haben gute Ergebnisse geliefert. Sie wachsen auch auf dem Hochbeet weiter! Ein Foto von meinem Hochbeet mit vorgezogen Pflanzen.

Ein schickes Teil. Sehr dekorativ. Freue mich schon wenn die ersten Pflanzen sprießen 😇. Eine super tollen schöne Idee die noch als gemütliche Lampe agiert. Hat man die 100% an, ist es auch 100% Hell 🔆 da kann definitiv was wachsen! Und der Raum wird gleich mit ausgeleuchtet.
Meine Wünsche:
Wlan/Lan Funktion: damit man unterwegs die Lampe steuern kann und unterwegs noch sieht, wie der Wasserstand ist. Vielleicht auch noch andere Zukunftsdinge die man von unterwegs mit der App abrufen kann.
PH Sensor: damit man noch die Plantplugs mit messen kann vom PH Wert oder den PH Gehalt des Wassers
Mehr Farben im Led zum einstellen: da weiss ich aber nicht, ob das überhaupt relevant oder stressig wird für Pflanzen
Smartspeaker einbauen: ja, auch pflanzen 🌱 mögen bestimmt Musik 😇
Greenbox Safe / Plus Safe: das niemand fremdes Zugriff bekommt an seinen tollen pflanzen, ein Tent zu erstellen was die Greenbox vor Diebstahl schützt oder „Diskretion“. Vielleicht mit einen einfachen Schloss oder mit einer Smartphone gesteuerten Schloss 🔐. Allerdings braucht man dann noch eine Vorrichtung indem man es noch „manuell“ öffnen könnte, falls das Smartphone mit dem Schloss nicht reagiert 🤔… also zwei Ersatzschlüssel oder sowas 😅. Weiss nur nicht wie weit man das umsetzen kann/darf. Damit man trotzdem eine schöne Lampe hat, aber wenn man doch wertvolle Pflanze hat, niemand so einfach dran kommt. Deshalb wäre ein art Schrank oder Vorrichtung gut, indem man es abschließen kann.
Vielleicht noch die Wärmeentwicklung etwas reduzierbar bei den Lampen/Leds
Ansonsten habt ihr für mich ein sehr überzeugendes Produkt auf dem Markt gebracht. Weiter so 👏

Nachdem ich im Frühjahr die Green Boxen getestet habe, musste jetzt die große her, damit die Pflanzen umziehen können. 😉 Alles keimt und wächst super und tatsächlich schneller, als die Nachbarpflanzen im normalen Topf. Einzig ein analoger Wasserstandsanzeiger -ohne die App nutzen zu müssen- wäre noch nett und ein Stabsystem für den 6er Pot. Habe Orchideenstäbe in die Pots gesteckt. 😅 Es macht Spaß, hiermit zu gärtnern. 👍
Nachdem ich zwei normale GreenBoxen getestet hatte, einschließlich Pilzen und MicroGreens, wurde ich natürlich neugierig auf die Plus-Version aufgrund der Höhe der Boxen. Ich mache es kurz, Indoor Gärtnern fetzt einfach. Und ich habe nun wirklich keinen grünen Daumen. Aber irgendwie gedeiht hier alles und sieht dazu noch äußerst dekorativ aus. Nun habe ich halt zusätzlich noch zwei GreenBoxen in der Plus-Version. Macht so weiter. Mich habt ihr jedenfalls voll an der Angel 😉🤣
Also die kleine greenbox ist ja schon schön, aber dieses Teil ist ein absoluter Hingucker. Die Pflanzen könnten problemlos von einem ins andere überführt werden und dank der Wassertankfunktionalität vergisst man ich das gießen nicht.
Ich freue mich riesig darüber und überlege schon wo eine dritte Box Platz hat.
Ich hatte lange überlegt, ob ich mir die Greenbox zulegen soll. Schließlich habe ich mir gleich zwei normale Boxen bestellt und bin begeistert. Die Pflänzchen wachsen unglaublich schnell. Es macht mir jeden Tag Freude, wenn ich den Fortschritt beobachten kann. Deshalb hab ich mir dann noch die Greenbox Plus bestellt :-) Es geht wirklich einfach. Ich mag den Pflücksalat besonders gern, weil mir der aus dem Supermarkt oft kaputt ging.
