Snacking without end! The industrious wild strawberry Amelie produces its cherry-sized fruits over a period of weeks. Whether in muesli, on a cake or in between: With their intense aroma, the little red balls always taste a bit like a holiday. Thanks to its compact growth, Amelie is ideal for the GreenBox. In the warm summer months, it is a good idea to replant the wild strawberry in tubs or boxes and optimise the results on the balcony or outdoors. Grows slowly.

Variant 4-pack: 1 seed packet 4-pack contains 4 seed bags, 1 seed bag is sufficient for 2 PlantPlugs. This means that 1 seed packet is sufficient for 1 planting of the GreenBox (8 PlantPlugs).

Product details
Germination after approx. 2 - 3 weeks. Ideal room temperature: 15 - 25°. We recommend the use of our GreenBox Booster. When the plant develops flowers, pollination can be supported by gently moving the plant. We recommend growing the plant with other slow-growing fruits or herbs such as thyme or oregano. If planted with fast growing plants such as Asian leafy vegetables, this can result in the plant being overshadowed. In the summer months we recommend repotting the plants on the balcony or on a sunny windowsill.
First harvest after about 3 months. The fruits grow to about 1 cm and can be harvested as soon as they are red. The plant produces fruit over a long period of time if conditions are good.
