The popular plucked lettuce with reddish-brown leaf edges tastes rather sweet compared to other lettuce varieties. If only the large leaves are harvested, the industrious plant keeps producing new ones over several weeks. Grows quickly.

Origin: Near East. Composite plant which forms loose rosettes.
Germinates after approx. 7 days at an optimum temperature of 15 °C. Temperatures above 15 °C have a germination-inhibiting effect.
Picking lettuce should be harvested leaf by leaf from the outside inwards in order to continue growing steadily. The entire plant should be harvested after approx. 6-8 weeks.
