Typical winter vegetable. Widespread worldwide.
Germinates after approx. 2 weeks at an optimum temperature of 20 °C. If the temperature is above 24 °C, the germination process is inhibited. Ideal room temperature: at 18 - 24 °C. We recommend the use of our GreenBox Booster.
First harvest after 4 - 5 weeks. If only the outer leaves are harvested, the kale will continue to grow. After 6 weeks, the entire plant can be harvested, but after 8 weeks it loses its nutrients and flavor.
