A personal note: Why our PlantPlugs have been sold out for so long
Dear community,
we have received many questions in the last few weeks as to why our PlantPlugs are almost always sold out. We want to be completely honest with you so that you know exactly what is happening internally and where we are currently facing difficulties.
We source our PlantPlugs from a supplier who manufactures them specifically according to our dimensions and our formula. The composition of the substrate, the dosage of the fertilizer, the drying time, and many other factors ensure that the process takes longer than with other substrate blocks. But this also creates a product that is optimally suited for the GreenBox and with which your plants have excellent growing conditions.
Since we only want to sell you PlantPlugs that we would also like to use ourselves, without restrictions or compromises, we have decided against using other substrate blocks that cannot meet our quality standards.
Unfortunately, there have been delivery delays with our partner, which meant we have had to postpone the delivery date several times. Mid-February first became late February, then early March, and now the estimated delivery date is late March.
The availability of PlantPlugs is our highest priority, and we are doing everything to supply you with PlantPlugs again as quickly as possible; unfortunately, we have very little influence on when the shipment will arrive.
To ensure you can still use your GreenBoxes, mushrooms will be offered more frequently from now on. From March, mushrooms will no longer need to be pre-ordered; you can simply order them from us like any other product. Sometimes there may be slightly longer delivery times, but it will rarely take longer than 7 days.
Stay tuned, because we are currently testing several new types of mushrooms. Soon you will also be able to order mushrooms from us that we have never had in our range before!
In addition, we are back in contact with our supplier for microgreens. After a long break, we have now been able to get supplies for you again. The delivery is scheduled to arrive at our warehouse next week, and we will of course keep you updated on this via our newsletter and Instagram.
We are also already planning to find more varieties for you; we are currently still in talks with suppliers, but there will certainly be good news on that front soon!
