U-Plättchen
An 8-pack of U-Plättchen is already included in the delivery of the GreenBox.
The U-Plättchen are intended to prevent the growth of algae and mold on the surface of the moist PlantPlugs exposed to light.
The U-Plättchen should be placed on the substrate surface after sowing and inserting the PlantPlugs into the planting spots. The seeds will still receive sufficient light. It does not matter which side of the U-Plättchen faces upwards.
The U-Plättchen should cover the substrate surface until the plant has formed enough leaves to shade the surface on its own. Then the U-Plättchen can be removed.
