About us
As friends of technology and lovers of natural building materials, we have pursued one vision since 2018: to bring growing greenery into homes – with a blend of technology, design, and craftsmanship. All year round, and especially in cities – because there, many apartments are further from nature, less blessed by sunlight.
Our mission: to create smart and sustainable growing places for every home – in a body made of renewable materials. Because every household probably already has enough surfaces made of aluminum, sheet metal, and plastic. We see the future of the smart home in natural, European design. Made in Berlin.
The joy of growing greenery also covers a portion of personal needs for herbs, salads, Microgreens, and more: With local, pollutant-free food production, transport routes and plastic waste can be avoided, CO2 can be bound in homes, and people's well-being can be sustainably improved.
The combination of wood and smart technology creates high-quality craftsmanship. In central Europe, this tradition dates back many centuries. Not many generations ago, the manufacturing of goods was based on a local network of engineers, suppliers, inventors, and artisans. The construction of an object aimed for its longevity.
For us at BerlinGreen, this craft tradition also holds great importance. We identify with our EU-based network of employees, suppliers, and engineers. We believe in sustainable production – with the processing of renewable materials from Europe and local manufacturing under fair working conditions.
