About us
We're tech enthusiasts and nature lovers – and since 2018 we've been pursuing one vision: bringing fresh greenery into your home by combining technology, design and craftsmanship. All year round, and especially in the city – where flats often get little sunlight and nature feels far away. It was especially important to us that anyone can get started easily, even without much prior experience.
Our mission: creating smart, sustainable places to grow for every home – in a body made from renewable materials. Because every household already has enough surfaces made of aluminium, sheet metal and plastic. We see the future of the smart home in natural, European design. Made in Europe. Designed in Berlin.
And while you're enjoying watching your greens grow, you're covering part of your personal supply of herbs, salads, microgreens and more. Instead of coming out of plastic packaging at the supermarket, they come straight from your own kitchen: freshly harvested, exactly when you need them. And that simply feels good.
Every GreenBox is handcrafted. We build it with care and the ambition to create a product that lasts – made from renewable materials, with love for detail.
What matters to us is not just what we build, but also how we work together. We develop the GreenBox as a team in Berlin and stay in direct contact with our suppliers. It's manufactured in the EU, and the birch wood comes from Europe too.

Sustainability
You've probably seen it before: many brands call themselves green without saying what's behind it. We prefer to keep it concrete: our GreenBox is manufactured in the EU, its body is made of birch wood instead of plastic, and our PlantPlugs are made of coconut fibre.
