The lettuce quartet
set contains 8 PlantPlugs with seeds for:

The romaine lettuces in red and green are rich in vitamin C and minerals. Their juicy, crunchy leaves are the perfect accompaniment to olives and goat's cheese. The popular pickling lettuce brings more sweetness to the bowl. With its characteristic aroma, the equally Mediterranean arugula also seasons pizza and pasta as well as salads. If only the outer leaves of the lettuce plants are harvested, the hard-working hearts continue to produce new leaves for several weeks.
How it works
It's simple! Insert the supplied seeds into the PlantPlugs and these in turn into the slots of the GreenBox. Fill the tank with water and watch your lettuce grow! After approx. 4 - 6 weeks you can enjoy your first harvest.
The PlantPlugs
Our PlantPlugs are made from coconut fibers, a by-product of the coconut industry. They retain their shape in contact with water. Because they release almost no particles, they are very clean to handle.
To keep your plants well nourished, the PlantPlugs are enriched with a mineral fertilizer. Of course, they are 100% biodegradable and free from pesticides, fungicides, insecticides, genetically modified organisms or other hazardous substances.
