In the first growth phase, the foliage is not yet present or very small. At full power, the light from the LEDs is too bright for some viewers. Voilà - the solution! The GreenBox Tent (lampshade) diffuses this lightso that indoor gardeners find it pleasant. This turns the GreenBox into a lounge lamp!

Once the plants are large enough to touch the lampshade, it can be removed for the rest of the growing cycle. The plants will now diffuse the light from the LEDs.
