Terms and Conditions for Photo Contests and Sweepstakes
Scope
1. These conditions of participation apply to photo contests and sweepstakes of GreenBox GmbH. Our photo contests or sweepstakes are conducted via the following channels:

2. Photo contests and sweepstakes via our Facebook wall, Facebook tab pages, and Instagram are in no way connected to Facebook, Inc. or Facebook Ireland Ltd. The photo contests are not sponsored, supported, or organized by Facebook in any way and do not create any legal claims against Facebook. All information within the scope of the photo contests is provided exclusively by GreenBox GmbH as the organizer.
Conditions of Participation
1. Participation in our photo contests and sweepstakes is free of charge.
2. Only adults residing permanently in the EU may participate.
3. Participation takes place within the respective specified contest periods, which are communicated via our various information channels (website, newsletter, Facebook, Instagram, blog).
4. By participating in the sweepstakes or photo contest or by submitting a photo contribution or comment within the scope of the contests, the participant expressly acknowledges these general conditions of participation.
5. In photo contests, a jury selects the best entries from all submitted contributions. The images selected by the jury will be presented on the GreenBox GmbH website, in the newsletter, or on social media.
6. In sweepstakes, a random draw is held among all participants. If the sweepstakes is linked to a task, only those participants who have correctly completed the task will be included in the draw.
7. The respective prizes can be found in the announcements on the respective channels of GreenBox GmbH.
8. Employees of GreenBox GmbH and their relatives are welcome to participate in photo contests but are excluded from winning prizes!
9. By submitting the photos, the participant agrees that the submitted photographs may be published and/or linked on the website www.berlingreen.com, in the newsletter, as well as on Facebook and Instagram or the blog. The participant expressly grants his/her permission for this.
10. In case of suspicion of fraud or manipulation of the voting results, GreenBox GmbH reserves the right to exclude the participant from the contest.
11. Participation is exclusively online. Applications submitted in writing cannot be considered.
12. Participation in the contest is only possible under the conditions listed here.
13. Cash payment of prizes is not possible.
14. GreenBox GmbH reserves the right to change, adapt, or terminate the sweepstakes at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons.
15. Legal recourse is excluded.
16. The contest is exclusively subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
17. Should individual provisions of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, the legal validity of the remaining conditions will not be affected thereby. An appropriate regulation that best corresponds to the purpose of the invalid provisions shall take their place.
Rights of Use and Exploitation
1. The participant assures that he/she is the owner of all rights (rights of use and ancillary copyrights, as well as other rights) to the submitted photos that are necessary for their use in the context of the contest.
2. In particular, the participant guarantees to have obtained the rights of all persons depicted in the photos. The photos were produced by him/her personally or the consent of the photographer was obtained for submission.
3. It is strictly forbidden to submit photos that are commercial, have criminal, pornographic, discriminatory, racist, threatening, or offensive content, or refer to such content.
4. The participant agrees that all submitted data will be stored electronically. The general data protection regulations apply.
5. The participant grants GreenBox GmbH a free and irrevocable, simple, geographically, contentually, and temporally unlimited right of use and exploitation for the submitted photos within the scope of the respective contest.
6. Consent to the granted rights of use and exploitation is irrevocable.
Participant's Liability
1. The participant is liable for the accuracy and completeness of his/her information.
2. The participant assures that the entered data corresponds to the truth and describes him/her personally.
Data Protection
1. In the context of a contest or sweepstakes, personal data will be collected from participants. GreenBox GmbH requires this data for the purpose of carrying out the contest. For this purpose, in particular, first name, last name, e-mail address, and postal address for sending prizes will be collected, stored, and used.
2. When the submitted photos are selected by the jury for presentation on our website, in the newsletter, and on social media, GreenBox GmbH is also entitled to publish the names of the winners. The participant expressly gives his/her consent for this.
