Privacy Policy – Berlin Green Ads Reporting

Effective date: 20 October 2026

This privacy policy explains how the application "Berlin Green Ads Reporting" (the "App") accesses, uses, stores, shares and deletes data it receives from Google, including Google user data obtained through the Google Ads API. It complements our general privacy policy at https://berlingreen.com/en/pages/privacy-policy.

1. Who is responsible

GreenBox GmbH, Rheinstraße 10 C, 14513 Teltow, Germany. Email: support@berlingreen.com. GreenBox GmbH sells the GreenBox smart indoor garden under the brand Berlin Green at https://berlingreen.com.

2. What the App is and who uses it

The App is an internal reporting and campaign management tool. It connects to the Google Ads API through Google OAuth 2.0. Only authorised employees of GreenBox GmbH use it, and only for the Google Ads account of Berlin Green (customer ID 432-689-6194). The App is not offered to the public, customers or other advertisers.

3. Google user data the App accesses

The App requests a single OAuth scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords` (manage your Google Ads campaigns). With it, the App reads:

  • Google Ads account structure and settings: campaigns, ad groups, budgets, bidding strategies, targeting, keywords and conversion actions.
  • Performance data: impressions, clicks, costs, conversions, conversion values, search terms, device, region and time segments.
  • Keyword planning data: search volumes and bid estimates for keywords and countries.
  • The change history of the Google Ads account.

When an employee signs in, Google gives the App an OAuth access token and a refresh token. The App does not receive or store Google passwords. It does not request access to the employee's name, email, profile, Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google service.

4. How the App uses Google user data

The App uses Google user data only to provide its features to GreenBox GmbH:

  • analysing the performance of Berlin Green's advertising campaigns,
  • planning advertising in new European markets,
  • adjusting campaigns, budgets, keywords and bids in the Berlin Green Google Ads account, always initiated by an authorised employee.

The App does not use Google user data for any other purpose. In particular, it does not use it to serve or target ads to anyone, to build user profiles, to determine credit-worthiness, or to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

5. How the App stores and protects data

  • OAuth tokens and downloaded reports are stored on company computers of GreenBox GmbH, in files readable only by the user account of the authorised employee.
  • Data in transit to and from Google is encrypted with TLS.
  • Reports contain aggregated advertising statistics. They contain no personal data of Berlin Green's end customers.
  • Access to company computers is protected by individual user accounts and passwords.

6. Sharing of Google user data

GreenBox GmbH does not sell Google user data. We do not transfer or disclose it to third parties, except:

  • to service providers acting on our instructions, only as far as needed to run the App, under confidentiality obligations and in line with this policy,
  • where required by law, or
  • with the explicit consent of the person concerned.

We do not share Google user data with advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers.

7. Retention and deletion

  • Reports are kept as long as needed for advertising analysis, at most 24 months, and then deleted.
  • OAuth tokens are kept while the App is in use and deleted when an employee leaves or the App is retired.
  • You can revoke the App's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. The stored token then stops working immediately, and we delete it.
  • To ask us to delete data, email support@berlingreen.com. We act on the request within 30 days.

8. Legal basis (GDPR)

Where the App processes personal data, it does so on the basis of our legitimate interest in analysing and improving our advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict processing of your data, the right to data portability, the right to object, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. Limited Use

Berlin Green Ads Reporting's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

10. Changes and contact

We will update this policy when the App changes how it handles data and change the effective date above. For questions, contact GreenBox GmbH, Rheinstraße 10 C, 14513 Teltow, Germany, support@berlingreen.com.
