With its delicate onion-like flavour, chives refine not only egg dishes and salads, but also various soups and dairy products. Also edible are the decorative flowers of the plant, which has been popular since the Middle Ages. Grows at intermediate pace.

Product details
Several seeds can be placed in a PlantPlug. Germinates after approx. 10 days. Temperatures above 26 °C inhibit germination. Ideal room temperature: 18 - 26 °C.
First harvest after 4 - 5 weeks. Regular pruning promotes strong growth and behind the flower formation. However, the plant should not be cut down completely. The flowers are edible and taste slightly sweet. After about 8 weeks, the entire plant can be harvested.
