Piquant mustard oils give the originally Mediterranean plant its characteristic aroma. Its strong flavor gives salads, pasta dishes and soups a hearty note. Arugula can be harvested several times as long as it is harvested before flowering. The bloom gives arugula a bitter flavor. Grows quickly.

Product details
Germinates after approx. 10 days at 15 - 20 °C. Germination temperatures above 22 °C have a germination-inhibiting effect. Ideal room temperature: 18 - 24 °C.
First leaves can be harvested after about 3 - 4 weeks. Harvesting of the entire head of lettuce occurs after about 6 weeks. The flowers are edible. After the arugula has flowered, new leaves are not formed and the aroma of the leaves decreases.
